Business Email: email at your own domain

What Business Email gives you, what it costs, and who can set it up. Mailboxes at your own domain, with webmail and setup for your phone and computer.

Updated 27 Oct 2026

Business Email gives your business email addresses at your own domain, like [email protected], instead of a free address at Gmail or Hotmail. It is an app on your site's Apps page, made by ContentMetric.

What you get

  • Mailboxes at your own domain, each with its own password.
  • Webmail, so you can read and send mail in your browser.
  • Setup settings for Outlook, Thunderbird, iPhone and Android.
  • Aliases and forwarding addresses, which are free. An alias is an extra address, like [email protected], that delivers into a mailbox you already have.

Business Email does not include shared calendars or contacts.

What it costs

US$9 a month per mailbox, billed yearly. That is US$108 for each mailbox for the year, charged once, in US dollars. A site can have from 1 to 10 mailboxes. Each mailbox starts at a size of 10 GB, and you can change the size from 2 to 25 GB at no extra charge. Aliases and forwarding addresses cost nothing. We email you a receipt each time. See Business Email billing and renewal for how renewal works.

Free sites can use it

Business Email works on every plan, Free included. You do not need Pro or Business to have mailboxes at your own domain. Your site does need your own domain connected, because the mailboxes belong to that domain. On a Free site, buying Business Email is what lets you connect your own domain, so you buy first, then connect the domain, then add the email records. On a Pro or Business site you can connect the domain first. To connect it, see Connect a custom domain.

Having Business Email does not change anything else about your site. Your plan, your AI credits and the badge on your published site stay exactly as they were.

Who can set it up

Owners and Admins can add the app, buy mailboxes, create mailboxes and reset passwords. Editors can look at the pages but cannot change anything.

How it fits together

  1. Buy mailboxes on the Plan page. Buying comes first on every plan, Free included.
  2. Connect your domain to the site, in Settings, then Domains.
  3. Add the six email records at the company where you manage your domain. See Set up your domain for Business Email. You can buy before the records are found. Your mailboxes work once mail for your domain points to us.
  4. Create your mailboxes. See Create and manage mailboxes.
  5. Add them to your phone and computer. See Set up email on your devices.

Common questions

Can I keep my old email while I set this up? Yes. Nothing changes until you add the records. Once mail for your domain points to us, it stops arriving at your old email provider, so do that when you are ready to switch.

Do my old emails move across? No. Mail already at your old provider stays there. Business Email starts with empty mailboxes. Many mail apps can copy folders from one account to another if you want to move old mail yourself.

Can I pay by bank transfer? Yes, through FastCloud. See Business Email billing and renewal.
