Blog posts and other collections

Use the Content area for blog posts and similar repeating entries, and the Data area for tables of records.

Updated 22 Sept 2026

Some things on a website repeat: blog posts, news items, staff profiles, products. Rather than building a page for each one, you keep them as entries in a collection.

Where they live

  • Content in the left rail is for written entries such as blog posts. Each entry has a title, a web address ending, and a body you write in a normal text editor.
  • Data in the left rail is for tables of records, including the entries your forms collect.

Add a blog post

  1. Go to Content in the left rail.
  2. Pick the collection you want on the left, for example your blog.
  3. Create a new entry and give it a title.
  4. Write the body. You can add headings, lists, links and images.
  5. Save, then publish when you are ready.

Common questions

Can I move an entry to a different collection? Yes, from the entry itself.

Who can create and delete collections? Changing the shape of a collection is limited to people with the right permissions on the site. Writing and editing entries is open to editors.

Where does the blog page come from? The collection supplies the entries. The page that lists them is built in the Site editor like any other page, and the AI assistant can build it for you.
