What each part of the ContentMetric editor does, from the left rail to the AI assistant and the Publish button.
Updated 22 Sept 2026
Opening a site from your dashboard takes you straight into the editor. Here is what you are looking at.
This is how you move between the main areas of your site.
At the top of the rail is the site menu. It has Settings for this site, and a Sites item that takes you back to the list of all your sites.
Site settings cover this one site: General (its name, description, favicon, language, business details, the plan it runs on, and the danger zone for handing it over or deleting it), then Languages, Domains, Redirects, Versions, Forms, Integrations, Custom code and AI & code. Anything about you, your workspace, your plan or your receipts is in your dashboard under Settings instead. See Workspace settings.
Down the left edge of the Site editor is a second, narrower strip of buttons. Each one opens a panel:
The middle of the screen is your page, shown as visitors will see it. The panel on the right shows the settings for whatever you have selected.
Your changes are saved as a draft as you work. Visitors do not see them until you press Publish at the top of the screen. See Publish your site.
Where did my changes go? They are in the draft. Press Publish to put them on the live site.
How do I get back to my other sites? Open the site menu at the top of the far left rail and choose Sites.
