Publish your site

Everything you change in the editor is saved to a draft. Visitors keep seeing the last published version until you say otherwise.

Put your changes live

1. Open your site and make your changes.
2. Press Publish at the top of the screen.
3. Wait for the button to read Published.

Your site is live at its contentmetric.com address from the moment it is first published, and at your own domain too once you have connected one.

Look before you publish

The arrow next to the Publish button has two extra options:

• Preview page opens the current page as a visitor would see it.
• Schedule publish puts the change live at a time you choose instead of now.

Go back to an earlier version

Open the Versions panel in the Site editor. It lists earlier saved versions with what changed. Restore the one you want, then press Publish to make it live again.

Common questions

I published but the page looks the same. Refresh with Ctrl+Shift+R, or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac. Browsers hold on to old copies of a page.

Does publishing cost a credit? No. Credits only cover AI edits.

Can I take the site down? There is no one click way to unpublish a whole site. Ask us at [email protected] if you need one taken offline.
