Edit text and images

Most day to day edits are done straight on the page, without the AI assistant.

Change some words

1. Open your site and go to Site in the left rail.
2. Pick the page you want from the Explorer panel.
3. Double click the text you want to change. A cursor appears and you can type.
4. Click anywhere outside the text when you are done.

If double clicking selects a larger block instead, you are inside a reusable part. The editor tells you which one, and double clicking again takes you into it.

Swap an image

1. Click the image once to select it.
2. The panel on the right shows the image settings, including the picture it uses.
3. Choose a different image, or upload a new one.

Upload images in advance

Go to Media in the left rail and upload your files there. Everything you upload is available to every page on the site. The Uploads button shows progress while large files finish.

Undo

Ctrl+Z on Windows, or Cmd+Z on a Mac, undoes your last change. This works anywhere in the editor.

Common questions

Do my edits go live straight away? No. They are saved as a draft. Press Publish when you are ready for visitors to see them.

I deleted something by mistake and undo did not help. Open the Versions panel in the Site editor. It lists earlier saved versions of the site and lets you restore one.

What size should my images be? Use a good quality version at roughly the size it will be shown. Very large files make a page slower to load.
