Show another site under a path

Serve a second site, or an outside address, under a folder of your site such as /blog.

Updated 24 Oct 2026

Multi-site lets your site show another site under one of its paths. A common use is a blog that was built as its own site, shown at yoursite.com/blog. Visitors see one site. Search engines see one site.

Multi-site is on Pro and above.

Add a path

  1. Open your site in the editor and click Settings.
  2. Under Hosting, click Multi-site.
  3. Click Add path.
  4. In Path, type the folder, such as /blog. Everything under it shows the other site.
  5. In Show, pick Another site in your workspace and choose the site, or pick An outside address and paste the full address starting with https://.
  6. Click Save, then Publish your site. The path is live when the publish finishes.

The first row in the table, Default, is your own site. It cannot be changed or removed.

What visitors see

Every page of the other site works under the path. Its links and images are adjusted so visitors stay under your domain. The other site keeps working at its own address as well.

If the other site is not published, or gets unpublished later, visitors to the path see your site's own "page not found" page.

Rules to know

  • Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens in a path. One path cannot sit inside another, so /blog and /blog/news cannot both be rules.
  • A path takes over. If your own site has a page at /blog, visitors see the other site instead while the rule exists.
  • Some paths are reserved for the system, and so are your language folders. The editor tells you.
  • You can add up to 20 paths.
  • Only owners and admins of the site can add or change paths.

Forms, members and shop

Keep forms, members-only pages and shop pages on the other site's own address. Under a path, a form on the other site cannot be sent, members cannot sign in, and shop pages do not load. Link to the other site's own address for those pages.

Search engines

Pages under the path tell search engines their address is on your domain (for example yoursite.com/blog/first-post). Your own sitemap does not list them. To hand search engines the other site's sitemap, add this line to your robots.txt under Hosting > Files:

Sitemap: https://yoursite.com/blog/sitemap.xml

Common questions

Can I show a site from another workspace? Not yet. Choose a site from the workspace this site is in.

Does the other site need a paid plan? No. The site that shows it needs Pro or above.

How long does a change take? Publish your site and the path is live. When the other site publishes, the path shows the new pages within a minute.
