Workspace settings

ContentMetric keeps settings in two places. Anything about you or your workspace is in the dashboard. Anything about one site is in that site, inside the editor.

Workspace settings, in the dashboard

From your dashboard, open Settings. These cover people and money, and apply to every site you own.

• Profile is your own account: your name and sign in details.
• General is the workspace itself, including its name.
• Members is who can get in and what they can do.
• Billing is your plan, the card on file, your billing details and your receipts.
• Usage is what your workspace has used, with a line for each site.

On the Billing page, each site on your plan has an Open site settings link. That is the one door between the two: it takes you into that site's own settings.

Site settings, in the editor

Open a site, then Settings from the site menu at the top of the left rail. These apply to that one site.

• General is the site name, description, favicon and language. It also holds Business details, the name, address and contact details of the business the site is for, one line telling you the plan this site runs on, and the Danger zone for handing the site to someone else or deleting it.
• Languages is the languages the site is published in.
• Domains is the web address.
• Redirects sends an old address to a new one.
• Versions is the history of what was published.
• Forms is where form submissions are sent.
• Integrations connects outside services.
• Custom code is for scripts you want on every page.
• AI & code is where you connect an outside AI assistant.

More than one workspace

You can belong to several workspaces, for instance your own and a client's. Switch between them from the menu at the top of your dashboard.

Common questions

Where is the plan, in the workspace or the site? Plans, credits and receipts are handled for the whole workspace, under Billing in your dashboard. A site's General page shows one line saying which plan it runs on, with a link to that page.

Where do I hand a site over or delete it? In the site's own General page, at the bottom, under Danger zone.

Can I rename the workspace? Yes, under workspace Settings and General.

Who can change workspace settings? An owner or an admin.
