Save a look for your headings and body text once, pick it from a list, and change it everywhere in one go.

A text style is a saved look for text: the font, weight, colour, and the size for each screen. Pick it on any text block, and later change the style once to update every text that uses it. Text styles are on every plan, including Free.
Only the settings the style sets are changed. If the style does not set a colour, your text keeps its own colour.
The first time you open the list, your site gets five starting styles: Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, Body and Caption. They change nothing on your pages until you pick one. Choose No style to take a style off a text.
If you change a font, size or colour on a text that uses a style, only that text changes. The row then reads, for example, Heading 2 · edited. The values that come from the style stay grey.
There is no Save button. Every text that uses the style changes as you type, and one undo reverses it.
Open the Styles list and choose New style. It starts from the look of the text you have selected. Give it a name, and pick the tag it should use, such as h2 for a heading.
In the style editor, Apply to every h2 on this site gives the style to every h2 that has no style yet. It tells you how many texts will change first. One undo puts them all back.
Delete style removes it from the list. Texts that used it keep their look, and you can still change them one by one.
A text style sets the look of the whole block. Bold, italic and links on single words inside it stay as you set them. See Edit text and images.
The AI assistant can see your text styles. Ask it to "use Heading 2 for the section titles" and it will pick the matching style instead of making up a new look.
Will my existing pages change when the starting styles appear? No. A style only affects a text once you pick it.
Why did a heading not change when I edited the style? That text has its own changes. Open the Styles row and choose Reset.
