Give a product options such as Size and Colour, with a price, stock and SKU for each combination.
Updated 7 Oct 2026
Switch on Product options in Shop settings, under Product options and questions. Then open Product choices next to Orders and pick the product.
Add up to three options, for example Size (S, M, L) and Colour (Red, Blue). The shop makes one variant for every combination, up to 100 variants. If you change the options later, the combinations you keep keep their price, stock and SKU.
You can set a price, the stock count, your own SKU code, the weight in grams, and a picture. Click Suggest SKUs if you want the shop to propose codes you can edit.
Buyers pick the options with buttons on the product. A combination that is sold out cannot be bought.
Weight is used by shipping zones that charge by weight (see Pickup, local delivery and shipping). A product with no weight counts in the lightest band.
Products with a plain list of variants keep working exactly as they did. If you keep stock by lot and best-before date, that keeps working with options as well.
You can ask the AI to set up options on a product. It tells you how many variants it made and offers an undo. Each AI edit uses credits.
