Install ContentMetric apps from Site settings, see what each may do, open its pages, switch it on or off, and decide if your AI assistant can use it.

Apps add features to one site, for example a shop. They are built and checked by ContentMetric. Forms & Bookings and every other app are included in Pro, Business and Enterprise. The Shop is part of the Business and Enterprise plans. There is nothing to upload and nothing extra to pay.
You will see two tabs. Installed lists the apps this site already has. Available lists the apps you can add. An app marked Coming soon is one we are still building; you cannot install it yet.
Each installed app is one row. The row shows the app's name, one badge that says how it is (On, Off, Setup required, Action required, or a connection that is about to run out), and one line saying how it is doing. For an app that connects to another service, that line says when it last worked, for example "Connected, last invoice 2 min ago". Under the line is a link to every page the app adds, so you can go straight to Orders or Discount codes without opening the editor menu. When an app needs something from you, a button under the line takes you to the right place, for example Connect Stripe.
An app gets exactly the permissions shown on that list, nothing more. When the install finishes, the app opens its own setup page, for example Shop settings, so you can finish setting it up straight away.
Click Manage on an app's row (or anywhere else on the row). The app's own page lists:
Each installed app has an AI access switch on its Manage page, off by default. The line beside it says whether your assistant can use the app right now. Switch it on and the app's own actions become available to the AI assistant connected to this site. Anything that moves money, such as a refund, still asks you to confirm inside the editor before it happens. Switch it off and those actions disappear from the assistant on its next request.
Apps update on their own. Pages you already published keep using the version of the app they were published with, so after an update publish your site again to switch them over. You do not have to change anything first: while your live pages use an older version of an app, the Publish button at the top of the editor reads Publish instead of Published, and pressing it puts every page out again with the new version. The Shop also reminds you on its Orders page and in the Setup tasks box of Shop settings, which has a Publish now button that does it from there. If a new version asks for a permission the app did not have before, its row shows Update needs approval and a Review update button, so you see the change before it is switched on.
Owners and Admins can install, remove and switch apps. Editors can use an app's pages, such as an orders list, but do not see the Apps settings page.
The Shop shows Business plan on a Free or Pro site. The row is visible but locked, with a See plans button. Upgrade from the site's Plans (open the site, then Settings › Plans) and the row unlocks straight away.
If your site already has the Shop installed, it keeps working on every plan, even if your plan is lower than Business. The plan is only asked for when you install the Shop on a site that does not have it yet.
