Create a code buyers type at checkout for a percentage or an amount off.
Updated 7 Oct 2026
Switch on Discount codes in Shop settings, under Pricing and discounts. Then open Discount codes, next to Orders in the editor menu.
Choose a code (capital letters and numbers, 3 to 20 long) and either a percentage off or an amount off. Then, if you like, set:
The buyer types the code in the code box and sees the new total before paying. One code per order. It lowers the price of products only, never the delivery fee, and it never takes a line below zero. A free-delivery amount is checked against the goods after the discount.
If a code has 50 uses and two buyers pay at the same moment for the last one, only one of them gets it. A use is given back if the buyer does not finish paying or the order is cancelled.
You can end a code at any time. A code that has been used is ended, not deleted, so past orders still show which code they used.
A code nobody has used yet can be deleted instead. Click Delete code, then confirm in the box that asks, for example, Delete SUMMER10?. Deleting cannot be undone; Keep it closes the box and changes nothing.
Orders show the code and the amount taken off, and receipts show the discount.
While Discount codes are switched off in Shop settings, buyers see no code box, and a code that would otherwise be active shows Paused in the list.
You can ask the AI to create or end a code. Each AI edit uses credits.
