Change the date or address of an order

Move a pickup or delivery date, or fix a delivery address, on an order that has not been handed over yet. The buyer is emailed.

Updated 5 Oct 2026

A buyer asks to collect on Thursday instead, or sends a new address. You can change it on the order without refunding anything.

Change a date

  1. Open Orders and click the order.
  2. Open the ... menu and choose Change date or address.
  3. Pick the new day. Days you cannot serve are struck out: closed days, closed weekdays, days too soon, and days your pickup place or delivery area is shut.
  4. Write a Reason. The buyer reads it in the email.
  5. Click the button that shows the new date.

The buyer is emailed once with the old and new date and your reason. Money, stock and lots do not change. The order timeline records who changed it and why. Owners, admins and editors can change a date.

Change an address

Only the owner and admins can change an address, because it can change the delivery fee.

  1. Choose Change date or address and then Address.
  2. Enter the Postcode, the Delivery address and, if there is one, the Unit or floor.
  3. Write a Reason and click Change address.

The new address must be in the same delivery zone or area as the old one, so the fee stays the same. If it is in another zone you see: "The new address is in a different delivery zone, which changes the fee. Refund this order and let the buyer order again."

What you cannot change

  • An order that has been collected, shipped or delivered, refunded, cancelled or disputed.
  • The items on an order. To change those, refund the order and let the buyer order again.
  • Orders that came in from a marketplace such as Lazada. Do it in that marketplace's Seller Center.
  • A pickup order has no address to change; change its date.

An unpaid pay-later order can be changed too. It keeps its time to pay.
